Coffee production has significantly increased in Thailand over the years. In the 1970s, the government initiated coffee projects in the northern regions to aid local communities.
Chiang Rai, located in the north, has a cooler climate that makes it an ideal place for growing high-quality Arabica coffee. Chiang Rai Christian Academy's goal is to provide children with a biblically-based education that helps them develop into the individuals they were meant to be.
To support the school and community, Fos Coffee and Chiang Rai Christian Academy have collaborated on a fundraising project. The project involves selling Arabica coffee throughout Thailand and soon to be shipped worldwide. The coffee is grown, harvested, and processed by the Akha tribe at an altitude of 900-1000 meters above sea level.
